Michelle Paisano

Michelle Paisano is a Pueblo Indian artist from the Laguna and Acoma Pueblos of New Mexico who has worked as a clay sculptor since 1984. She holds a fine arts degree from the University of New Mexico and specializes in American Indian art. Her handcrafted clay sculptures, pottery, and vessels reflect Pueblo tradition, cultural symbolism, and Indigenous heritage.

Influenced by a long family lineage of Pueblo potters, Paisano’s work honors ancestral techniques while continuing the legacy of authentic Native American and Southwestern art.
