John Aragon

John Aragon, a proud member of the Acoma Pueblo community, is a visionary artist whose connection to his ancestral heritage fuels his creative spirit. Born and raised amidst the stunning landscapes and rich cultural traditions of Acoma Pueblo, Joseph’s journey as an artist began at an early age.

John is a son of noted potter Florence Aragon and a nephew of Rachel Aragon. He learned to make pottery from his grandmother Lupe Aragon. He is known for his use of Mimbres animals as the designs on his pottery.
